David graduated from the Art Institute in Atlanta in 1988 and early in his photography career, moved out to Los Angeles to work for Muscle & Fitness and Flex magazines among other photographic pursuits on the West Coast of the United States.
Moved back to Atlanta in 1993 and started working with Michael Portman which lead to working with both Michael & John Portman for the next 23 years, traveling world-wide to document the wide scope and breath of Portman Architecture installations.
Went solo in 2020 amidst the sea change of the times and started focusing on varied projects as well as the creation of a completely new portfolio.
All images captured using the Phase One IQ4-150 digital back on ALPA technical cameras shot through Rodenstock HR optics.
